Elephants of Murchison

A series of elephant photographs from Murchison Falls National Park, documenting African savanna elephants (Loxodonta africana) in open grassland and along the banks of the Victoria Nile.
Murchison's elephant population is one of the largest in Uganda. The animals move in structured family groups, communicating through vocalisations, body language, and infrasound. The images in this series capture herd movement, social behaviour, and the relationship between the animals and the savanna landscape around them.
