Arnold Mugasha is a photographer and filmmaker based in the vibrant city of Kampala, Uganda, with a passion for capturing the beauty and complexity of the world around him. Through his lens, he tells stories that are both personal and universal, often focusing on landscapes, wildlife, urban spaces and aerial perspectives.
With a 12 year background in design, photography and film making, he has developed a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. He has worked with a diverse range of clients, including The Walt Disney Company, Marriott Hotels, World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic Films, London School of Economics, University of California, Diageo, and the United Nations.
His work has featured in publications such as Dezeen and Nature Sustainability, and on platforms like Getty Images Creative and Shutterstock. He has also received awards and nominations for his work, including the TBWA Africannes award for Best Art Direction, 3 Uganda Press Photo Awards and contributions to projects that have received Academy Award, BAFTA, Cinema Eye Honors, British Independent Film Awards and Critics Choice Documentary Award nominations.
